We've been using and loving our 2003 Mercedes (also made for Dodge) Sprinter van for 2 years now. This one's pretty unique. It holds up to 14 passengers in the back, which has been fully refurbished/rebuilt just a year ago and run as a party bus/limo under Seattle Green Limo. I've sold the company and now the van is available. This is the perfect vehicle for someone with a large family. Someone who wants to haul around their kids' sports teams, or someone who has a limo business or wants to start one for themselves. We regularly rented this vehicle out for 99 to 150/hr, depending on the night. This is also an ideal vehicle for someone who wants a car for their own use that can use the carpool anytime, wants to make money with it when they rent it out, and wants to help the environment by using veggie-created fuel. I'll be keeping my other Sprinter Limo for that purpose myself. I HATE sitting in traffic so the carpool function is a huge factor. Also it's extremely handy for when you want to barter on craigslist or elsewhere. I had my fence and all my plumbing fixed by trading for birthday parties in this. This vehicle features:Television which can play Netflix or other apps as you roll. We use it with my Verizon wireless card and it works great. DVD/CD Stereo system with MP3 hookup. Works with iPod, Android, anything with a headphone jack. Lighted bar with fiber optics.LED party lights on ceiling that can flash with the music.Changing color fiber optic lights that run along seats and floor.Coolers, decanters, and glassware area for 14. 2 seats up front, which make this a vehicle you can use in the carpool anytime since it's designed for 16 passengers. HUGE BONUS!!! I even kept a copy of the RCW up front in case I ever got pulled over. Never did. Tinted windows. Just imagine a limo you can stand up in. That's this rig. AND it can run off regular, or biodiesel. Gets between 14 and 16 mpg running around the city. 24 to 26 highway. It has the 5-cylinder Mercedes Benz diesel engine that has a stellar reputation. The internet is full of people talking about how they've put more than a million miles on their engines. Surprisingly, in October there was an engine issue and the dealership wanted 4 grand just to open it up and diagnose. Our mechanic recommended just putting in another engine that had only 80,000 miles on it for 3 grand so we did that instead. We also replaced the turbo with a brand new one and the vehicles been running like a champ ever since. The odometer shows 154k on it. It's been about 5000 since the new engine so figure the new engine has 86000 on the outside.
