For Sale. 2003 Sprinter made by Freightliner customized back to original Mercedes Benz look. Runs and drives good. Engine starts right up, even in cold weather. Doesn't use up oil. No smoke, no wierd sounds. Tranny shifts smooth. Cold A/C.

Lots of new parts w/ less than 500 miles on them like:

Mass airflow sensor

Glow plugs & G P Relay

EGR valve

Intake manifold

Front & Rear rotors & pads

Head & Tail lights

Rear Tires

The negatives:

ABS & Tracking control light are on, which causes the check engine light to go on. Dealer diagnostics said that the reason was the front-left ABS sensor was bad, it was changed, but the code remains and all 3 lights are still on.

SRS light on. Again; Dealer diagnostic said that the problem is in the driver airbag. Possibilities are: Bad airbag? Clock spring in steering column? or SRS module?

Of course the usual dings and dents as seen in pictures.

These issues do not affect drivability. I would not be afraid to drive this van anywhere.

For sale here for is our 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 With A High Roof and 140" Wheel Base. It is being used by our delivery company to deliver medical parts to hospitals. It has e-trac for strapping down cargo, the interior plastic wall covering package and a full 1000lb capacity Tommy Lift Gate. It has power windows and power locks.This van has 333,555 miles. These miles are all highway miles and this van has been professionally maintained by Penske. The Transmission has been serviced twice since we have owned it and it shifts great with no problems. It has new a new battery, new harmonic balancer, new blower motor and resistor. There are also four almost new tires with only about 10,000 miles on them. There are numerous other parts that are new. This van also has an 800 watt power inverter hardwired to the bulkhead and interior fluorescent lighting installed.The van runs great and has just been professionally detailed. It's all ready to work. It does have some dings and scratches that you would see from a vehicle that has 333,000 miles but there are no mechanical issues with this van. The only thing I think should be adjusted are the rear doors. They close but only about 95%. I think its just a latch adjustment. Now for the legalese. While we do drive this van anywhere, it is being sold AS IS with no warranties and no refunds. Please come and drive this van if you are a serious buyer. If you win the auction you will pay your bid price. Arriving to pick it up and trying to negotiate a lower price is not allowed. A 500.00 deposit via pay pal is due immediately upon auction close and full payment via cash in person or bank wire within 7 days is required. Beautiful, well-maintained 2009 Sprinter 2500 Wagon. New MSRP was over $50,000. Selling to make room for 2012 Sprinter which has arrived at dealer!Options:- 16" alloy wheels- daytime running lights- cd/fm radio- cruise control- front and side airbags for driver and passenger- heated/power mirrors- rear a/c- rear heater- back-up alarm- insulation- 74 mph max speed- two extra keys- rear step bumper- seat base power outlet (cigarette lighter style)- and some other stuffThis Sprinter was purchased new in 2009 from Sherman Dodge in Skokie, IL. We are the first owner. It has spent its life on I-57 going back and forth between Champaign, IL and O'Hare Airport. Therefore, most miles are highway miles, and it shows. Vehicle has received preventive maintenance every 5,000ish miles, including oil changes with Mobil 1 synthetic. Engine runs strong and has no known issues. We recently sold a 2006 Sprinter 2500 with 375,000 miles on it, and that was still running strong, too. Fuel economy is typically around 18 mpg for trips which are mostly highway miles running at about 70 mph.I can't think of anything that is not working properly. The sliding door opens and closes easily. Climate control works great, Seats are all in fantastic shape, and there is a custom carpet on the floor (not glued down) which really cuts down on the noise.Body is in great shape. There are a bunch of tiny nicks in the hood from pebbles or rock salt, and almost all have been touched up and there is a small dent in the rear right door where sprinter was attacked by a shopping cart at the Target in Rosemont, IL on a windy day. Front left fender was replaced in 2009 after a small fender-bender in a mall parking lot. We replaced the fender completely instead of repairing it with bondo. Radio/CD works great. Decals can be removed with fingernails and a heat gun. After removal, adhesive cleanup with lacquer thinner should leave it looking like new.You'll receive the maintenance binder, which documents all work done on the vehicle.Deposit is due within 48 hours of auction close. If deposit is not received in a timely manner, a non-paying bidder report will be filed. Full payment is due within 7 days of auction end. If payment is not received within 7 days, deposit will be forfeited. Vehicle must be picked up within 10 days of auction end. Title will be FedExed approximately 7 days after final payment is received. Last title took about 10 days to get, title for prior vehicle took about 4 days.
