Auto Sport.  If you're tired of wasting tons of money at the fuel

pump to keep your work truck on the road, we have the perfect

solution.  We just purchased this 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 Cargo Van

with a Mercedes-Benz Turbo Diesel and all the right options.  It can hauls

tons of tools and supplies and should get about twice the miles per

gallon compared to your current van or pick-up.  As usual,

WE'RE SELLING IT WITH NO RESERVE AND THE

   Most dealers would

list this truck with a hefty reserve, but not Valley Auto Sport.....we've

got the best merchandise and no reserves.  

Now for a few details.  This truck

was previously owned since new by a local dealership group.  It was

outfitted as a parts delivery vehicle which is pretty light duty for a

vehicle like this.  They have updated their fleet with new Sprinters,

and we were more than happy to bring this one home.  It has been

serviced regularly, maintained properly, and runs very well.  We just

sold its twin a few weeks back, but this one has even lower mileage! 

As you

can see in the pictures below, this is the 2500 series with a long

wheelbase and the high top roof.  If you are

at all familiar with the used truck market, you'll know that this is one

of the hottest vehicles on the market today.  With fuel prices as volatile

as they are, efficiency is once again on everyone's

mind.  We can't just sit at home and wait for the prices to recede,

so it just makes sense to drive the most efficient vehicle possible when

you go to work.  The Sprinters are extremely smooth to drive, have

good of power and

torque, and still have plenty of room in the cargo area for gear or tools

or deliveries.  The EPA estimates that this Mercedes Benz Inline

5-Cylinder Turbo Diesel should get somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-25 mpg

depending on how you drive and how much you are hauling.  How many gas powered normal cargo

vans can make that claim......NONE!!  In these days of rising

overhead and fuel prices, this truck just makes more sense.  Who

wouldn't want to DOUBLE or TRIPLE their fuel economy?  We think this configuration is hard to beat and you'd

be hard pressed to find a more functional truck...we buy every one we can

get our hands on. 

Reliability is also exceptional....we've seen

quite a few with 300k-400k miles that are still going strong!!

  It is the perfect size for all you plumbers,

electricians, carpenters, masons, mechanical contractors, carpet

installers, and on and

on.  It has room for all your "stuff", is easy to maneuver

in and out of job sites, and drives great down the road.  This one is

a blank slate, ready for bins or shelves or racks or whatever you

need.  There are even sign/logo holders on each side so you can brand

your business and get free advertising wherever you travel.  With 154 Horsepower and an 8550 lb. GVW, you can load up the

back of the truck and still pull a trailer if necessary.  Normally a

6-year old work truck like this

would have quite a few more miles and exhibit more wear and tear. 

However, that's not the case with this one....it's very clean inside and has

good miles.  Mercedes Benz has been building these since

1995 overseas where they are extremely popular.  In 2001, they made

their way to the USA as a Freightliner and now a Dodge Sprinter.  It

didn't take long for them to catch on, and now you see them just about

everywhere.  They are very hot in the used market and difficult to

find, especially in decent condition.  The Sprinter is available in 3

different wheelbase lengths with ours being the 158"

version.  It also comes with the Hi-Top Roof that provides 72"

of headroom to stand up and walk around.  It is 68" wide in the

cargo area and has 14' of usable floor for cargo or supplies or

tools.  The visibility is superb and the on road manners

certainly have been influenced by Mercedes-Benz....in fact, many of the

interior features feel very similar to a "C" or "E"

class Benz!  It is a pleasure to

drive and comes with all the necessary interior features to keep you happy

behind the wheel.  It has Power Windows, Power Locks, Heated Power

Mirrors, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, and even Traction

Control.  Everything you need, nothing you don't.  The first owner has paid all of the initial depreciation hit, so you have

the opportunity to make a great buy on a great truck.  We're one of the top Commercial Truck

We have

Now for the condition report.  The

exterior is in very nice condition.....we repaired a few small dents and

repainted a few areas due to scratches and scuffs.  There are still a

couple spots of normal Sprinter surface, but very, very few.  Overall it's

very clean and looks very nice.  The

interior and cargo area is also very clean with no holes or tears in the

upholstery and no real issues to report.  All of the interior features

function normally and we have put about 300 miles on the truck as part of

our testing process.  It runs and drives extremely well, but we are

still selling it 100% AS-IS.  We are not aware of any issues, but

will not make any repairs if something develops after delivery.  The Title is clean and there are no signs

of accidents or other issues.  You can drive it home

when the auction ends and put it to work making money the very next

day.  It is sitting on size 225/75 R-16 tires with about 40% tread life remaining

on the rear and 40% on the front.

  It

has a current PA State Safety sticker and is within its current service

interval. 

The original sticker price for this truck was $37,000 when new.

We will be happy to provide transportation

from the airport or train station in Harrisburg if you provide us with your

schedule.

Buyer is responsible for shipping however

we will gladly help with the logistics.  

We charge a $100.00 fee to all buyers ($50

doc fee and $50 processing fee).  PA residents must pay 6% sales tax and

state registration fees.  Out of state buyers are responsible for all

state, county, and local taxes and fees that may apply in the state the

vehicle will be registered, however we will provide a 30-day temporary tag

with proof of insurance from your agent or insurance company. 

Part of our qualification process is test

driving our vehicles.  Therefore, this vehicle may have a few more

miles than we list above.  We try to keep it within 100-200 miles of

the number shown above.

2008 Dodge Sprinter 3500 DRW High Ceiling 170" Wheelbase turbo diesel cargo van with 89,611 original miles. This Sprinter is a rare model to find with such low mileage. Plus they were extremely expensive when they were new. Carfax certified, ONE owner from virginia with no  wrecks or mechanical problems. Undercarriage is rust and corrosion free. Very clean bright white exterior finish with very little sign of wear. Small dent in right fender that may pop out with paintless dent removal. Bumpers are straight and super clean. 2005 sprinter van with custom captain seats and folding rear bench seat,

customized by Midwest Automotive Designs in indiana

van has 70258 miles at listing, but i drive it daily ( 30 miles a day)

one accident reported, on oct 2011, in new jersey,  car hit my rear left bumper, bumper replaced

some scratches on door not fixed. see pictures

van is fully optioned, including 2nd battery in passenger seat.

rear heat, 2nd a/c, carpet, reclining seats, insulated front and rear

maintainted by rockland dodge in rockland nj, 

just done the 70,000 oil change and air and cabin air filter.

dealer recommends trans oil and power steering oil change at 80,000.

all belts and tensioners replaced at 60000. original shocks

rear brakes changed at 48,000miles

rear left bumper replaced (conner). evething runs as it should

i get 18 to 20 in city and 23 to 25 hwy, (best if under 60mph)

heated winshild, tinted glass, tires replaced in april.

no leaks anywhere.!! original paint , no touch up anywhere

has some small ding and scraches..

roof a/c has missing plastic shroud (broken) cosmetics both a/c runs great

USED VAN  some squeeing noises from here an there when driving thru roght terrain.
