Mercedes diesel with automatic transmission, AC, power windows, power door locks, 14 foot stake body flatbed with removable sides, tow receiver, three passenger seating, AM/FM, CD. We even went to the effort of replacing all six tires (tread was still good but due to age we wanted this van 100% road ready). This commercial van/work truck is an incredible find in every way. 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 118” wheelbase 200,000Hard to find Silver 118” T1N SprinterCurrent MA. inspection and clean title, I’m the 2nd owner since 2/2011This van is solid and has plenty of life left in it. It has been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. The 5cyl. turbo diesel pulls very strong and still has enough low end torque to spin the rear wheels but also sips fuel for 25 mpg. It’s starts first turn even in the coldest New England weather. I wouldn’t hesitate to take this vehicle cross country. I had planned to drive this van for at least another 3 years but I'm purchasing a new Sprinter for the tax write off. I'm a dyed in the wool 118” fanatic, these smaller vans drive and park like a compact car, it has a better turning radius than my wife’s Prius but can still fit a 9ft. long sofa.Feel free to contact me by phone with any questions 413-575-8689Condition: the pics speak for themselves, better than average paint for a Sprinter of this age. If you’ve been looking for a quality pre-emissions sprinter with the most unique options you may have just found it. It’s my 1-Owner Dodge 2500 High Ceiling Sprinter 140” wheel base passenger van with the low roof and only 103k miles. I don’t think you will find many of these sprinters built like this, it’s almost minivan size but it’s diesel and gets 27MPG. The body, drivetrain, underbody and interior are well above average, I believe you will not find one this year and price range any nicer. Read on for a full description.
Mechanically this van is superb. The original owner purchased new to haul the elderly around to run errands and it’s been fleet maintained right here in Elizabethtown it’s entire life. It’s obvious by looking at it’s condition and the way it drives that this van was always serviced on time and cared for. The local Dodge dealer had traded it in from the original owner and had put it through their shop to put for sale on their front line. It did not sell on their lot within their allotted time frame (60 days) and they wholesaled it to me. Here is what they have done to it to get it up to new car dealer standards; New tires and alignment, new front and rear brake rotors and brake pads, new battery, all new fluids and filters to the tune of $2,500. It’s a great van and ready to be put into use without any extra repairs thats for sure. The 2.7 5 cylinder Mercedes diesel is quiet and powerful and also gets 23-27 MPG fully loaded or empty. It drives down the road great with no pulling or wondering, brakes stop straight as well. Undercarriage is clean and dry with no leaks or rust at all. You will not have to spend a dime and this truck, drive it to California and back it’s that good.
Cosmetically this truck is the same way, well above average for the year. The paint is straight and shines very well in this attractive color (white...blah!). I don’t see any dents or major damage but please expect stone chips and or light scratch here and there, It looks to have been garaged. The sprinter is fully detailed and cleaned. It doesn’t appear they had painted or vinyl letters on the side so expect clean and straight paint down the sides. All a/c and heat, power windows and locks, cruise all work great. I have four key fobs to go with this van.
