2007 Freightliner Sprinter van247,298 miles on odometer3.0L V6 DOHC 24V turbo diesel engineAutomatic transmissionAC and heatAM/FM/CDManual locksPower windowsVinyl interior245/75R16 tiresCheck engine light is onI purchased this at auction, from purple wave,  the description stated transmission issue and check engine light is on, I spoke with the owner and they also said it was a transmission issue, it just stopped going into gear one day and they parked it and bought a new one.  I bought it on January 13 and  took it to have the transmission replaced they said the transmission checks out fine that I might want to check the catalytic converter because of the exhaust smell in the cab.  I expected to replace a transmission and since this is not the issue I do not want to spend money chasing down the problem when I need a van now for transportation to antique shows, so I purchased a different option and am wanting to sale this one to recoup my cost.Here is what I can tell you about it, it goes into gear but will not got past 2nd gear and it smells of diesel exhaust in the cab.  I was told these things... it is most likely not a transmission issue, I had the catalytic convert checked because of the smell and the muffler shop said it is not getting exhaust to the catalytic converter.  End of story that's all I know.  If you have knowledge or can repair these this is an excellent van in good condition.  Please ask all questions prior to bidding, even though I really don't know anything about it!  All sales are final, buyer is responsible for picking up or having this shipped.  I haven't even had the title transferred into my name yet, it has a clear title and I have my copy of the bill of sale from the auction company. Update 3/18..... The mechanic called and stated it is an Actuator Swirler (????)  I asked him to write this down for the purchaser so its easier for the buyer to trace down the problem,  and I wanted something for the 500.00 he charged!!!! I did not have him write an estimate for repair (another 150.00) since I am selling it.

We even went to the effort of replacing all six tires (tread was still good but due to age we wanted this van 100% road ready). This commercial van/work truck is an incredible find in every way. The engine on this vehicle is running properly. There are a few scratches ,dings and dents ,a few rusted spots...(see  pics) ....The mileage represented on this vehicle is accurate.This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission.All power equipment is functioning properly.Overall, this vehicle's exterior is clean.The interior is clean and in good condition.There is approximately 75% of the tire tread remaining.

EXTERIOR for a work vehicle. It is solid and all body lines are straight.
No sign of any car accidents or major body repairs. The cab and the box are
in very good shape, showing just some normal age related blemishes. The
frame is also solid and there is no any rust or damage. Overall,
outside the truck is in well preserved shape and has great business
appearance.
The interior has light wear and looks good - not
abused. Everything inside is clean and free of
cigarette or any other unpleasant odor. Inside the box (the cargo area) is in great shape, has minor
wear, stays dry and does not leak water.. Please look at the pictures.
Mechanically this vehicle has no problems. The engine starts easily, sounds
great and has no leaks, smoking, or blow-by. Transmission shifts fine as it
should be, A/C blows cold and all other components are functional in order.
All brake pads and brake rotors are good with over 70% life left and all
tires are good too with plenty of tread remaining. Underneath the vehicle
is dry, has no fluid leaks at all, has no rust either. Rides and drives well, feels strong and tight and can provide years
